Which Floor Types We Work With

Solid Hardwood
Oak, maple, hickory, walnut — every species we regularly work on. Recoats cleanly and sands 4–6 times in its life.

Engineered Hardwood
Any veneer thickness recoats cleanly. Sanding depends on veneer (>2mm required for full sand).

Laminate & LVP
Photo-printed wear layers cannot be refinished. We deep-clean these but recommend replacement when worn through.

Common Questions About Other Floors
Can you refinish engineered hardwood?
We can recoat most engineered hardwood (adds a fresh topcoat) but full sanding is only possible on engineered floors with a wear layer thicker than 2mm. Thinner veneers can only be recoated.
Can you refinish laminate?
Laminate cannot be sanded or refinished — its wear layer is photo-printed plastic over fiberboard. We can deep-clean laminate but cannot restore worn areas. Replacement is the only long-term fix.
What about bamboo and cork?
Both respond well to our Clean ReCoat Process™. Bamboo takes poly beautifully. Cork typically requires a specialty sealer we carry on request.
