How does the Clean ReCoat Process™ work?
Our proprietary, four-step Clean ReCoat Process™ restores floors in a single day using chemical abrasion instead of sanding. We deep clean, chemically prep the existing finish for adhesion, apply a fresh commercial-grade polyurethane topcoat, and let it cure — all in about 5–6 hours for a 1,000 sq ft project. The result: like-new floors, no dust, no moving out, at roughly one-third the cost of traditional refinishing.
How long does a 1,000 sq ft project take?
Most 1,000 sq ft projects complete in 5–6 hours — start after breakfast, finish before dinner. You can walk on the finished floors within hours, though full cure takes 30 days.
What sheens can I choose?
Three sheen levels: satin (most popular — low glare, hides dust), semi-gloss (moderate reflection, easy to clean), and gloss (maximum shine, commercial look). Pricing and durability are identical across all three.
Is this really dust-free?
Yes — truly zero airborne wood dust, because we do not sand. The Clean ReCoat Process™ uses chemical abrasion (liquid etchant) plus mechanical agitation with pad scrubbers, not abrasive sanding machines.
How long does the finish last?
With typical residential use, our commercial-grade polyurethane topcoat lasts 3–5 years before needing another recoat. A single coat delivers the durability and depth of two coats of traditional finish. We back it with a one-year service guarantee and five-year product guarantee.
Does furniture need to be moved?
Yes — the work area needs to be cleared. You can move smaller items yourself, we can move smaller items for an additional fee, or we can work around larger pieces and refinish exposed sections separately. We also provide contact info for full-service moving companies when needed.
